Direct Client Services

At GHRC, we understand that lack of essential services is responsible for poor health outcomes. The Direct Services Program at GHRC uses a comprehensive approach in addressing the essential and supportive needs of Georgians by providing access to essential services through our Community Drop-in-Center and Direct Service Centers five days a week. All sites offer Direct Service Centers and Bennett and Parker offer Drop in Centers. 

Services Include:

  • Hot Meals (only available at GHRC’s Drop in Centers)
  • Groceries
  • Water
  • Coffee
  • Telephone Use
  • Computer lab
  • Transportation
  • ID and birth certificate referrals
  • Hygiene kits
  • Clothing closet (only available at GHRC’s Drop in Centers)

Our services are free and confidential and the safe space at the Drop-in-Center allows clients to socialize, eat and drink, share ideas, and access resources. Our computer lab, bulletin board, and dedicated workers at the Drop-in Center are great resources for accessing job readiness and identification of employment.

  • GHRC’s Drop-in-Center/Direct Service Hours: 
    • Monday-Thursday: 10-5
    • Friday: 10-4
